Audrey Hepburn by Jon-Wyatt Audrey Hepburn by Jon-Wyatt
Audrey is perhaps the most beautiful woman in the world.

I completed this drawing remarkable quickly, probably about 3 hours in total. Some of the heavy shading could have been better but it didn't really show up till I scanned it in.

Bristol Board 250gsm card
A mixture of 9B to 2H derwent pencils with a 2B and 2H 0.3mm clutch pencil for the fine bits. I'm reasonably happy with her hair but felt that any more work in that area would make it worse so stopped where I did.

Critiques welcomed. This is one the my first pencil drawings that I am reasonably happy with so I do feel I've crossed a quality line but welcome any opportunity to advance further.

I love this because of the pencil/vexel look. So cool!

Your English is fine.

For the larger areas I have some 9B and 7B Derwent wooden pencils, cross hatching is important to get a good dark coverage. The finer work I use 0.3mm clutch pencils with 2B leads.
