Norma Jean Baker - aka - Marylin Monroe. Looking very hot here. A quick drawing for me this time, about 5 hours, this just flowed out nicely and I am very happy with this one. Bristol board. Clutch and wooden pencils from 5B to 2H. Selection of erasers. One thing new I used here was a white gel pen for the pupil highlight.
There are a lot of words to choose to describe this portrait of this talented woman: brilliant, perfect, beautiful and so on. Marilyn Monroe is one of my favourite actresses of the old Hollywood era. The technique you used is excellent, very smooth and delicate. Looks like an actual black and white portrait of this flawless woman in a white studio. I'd like to see a coloured version of this drawing, and we could appreciate each detail, her hair, make up, clothing, skin and jewelry. If Marilyn were still alive, she would feel complained and proud to see this portrait.
